Dansa International College was founded in 1996. The school was situated in Du Toit Street. In 2007 the school relocated to the current address at the corner of Nelson Mandela and Francis Baard Street. The school started with an enrolment of about 300 learners. Today the school has an enrolment of 800 learners. Our learners are from all over Africa. The school offers all the South African languages as well as French and Portuguese. We have a teaching staff complement of 42 teachers.
We are proud to say that our matric (Grade 12) pass rate has increased from 51% in 1997 to above 97%. Since 2004 the matric pass rate was newer lower than 94%.
Although the school has neither the space of facilities, we do offer different sport disciplines. In 2003 the school won the junior as well as the senior soccer league in the Inner City division. The school also has a debate, chess and Christian club.
